Non-Woke Apparel & Accessories Brands

Browse 64 Apparel & Accessories brands rated on the BuyWokeFree woke index. 63 are rated Not Woke.

Few industries wear their politics as literally as fashion. Apparel and accessory brands spent the past decade stitching social messaging into everything from Pride capsule collections to DEI-driven ad campaigns, and shoppers noticed. The landscape split in 2025: a Gravity Research survey reported by CNN in June 2025 found 39% of corporate executives planned to scale back public Pride Month engagement, with retailers trimming rainbow merchandise after the 2023 Target backlash. Yet not every label changed course — at Levi Strauss's April 2025 annual meeting, roughly 99% of shareholders voted down a proposal to abolish the company's DEI program. For values-first shoppers, that divide makes brand research essential: the t-shirt aisle is anything but neutral.

The good news: 63 of the 64 apparel & accessories brands we've rated score Not Woke, and many sit at the very bottom of our index. Standouts include Christian apparel brand Kerusso, which scores 3/100; swimwear maker Kona Kinis Swimwear at 4/100; Sierra Socks at 1/100; Outlaw Gear at 1/100; and faith-and-freedom label We Hold Fast, scoring 3/100.

On the other end of the spectrum, values-shoppers may want to research Hasbro, whose licensed apparel and accessories appear on shelves everywhere — it's rated 75/100 on our index, the only brand in this category that doesn't score Not Woke.

Every brand below is scored on our six criteria: ESG, DEI, Pride sponsorships, HRC CEI rating, political donations, and the CEO Action pledge.
