When it comes to where Cummins puts its money, this company champions what it calls “racial equity” and social justice. One of its big partnerships is with CARE, a nonprofit focused on advancing equity and opportunities for girls and marginalized groups.

This branding approach reflects an alignment with progressive values, which will turn people who feel companies should stick to business rather than social issues away.
