In this review, we’ll break down Paycom’s commitments to woke ideals, looking at how these practices align with traditional values—or don’t.

Financial Contributions to Progressive Causes

If money talks, Paycom has a lot to say about its priorities. In 2022 alone, Paycom donated over $1.3 million to nonprofits, followed by millions more in 2023. These donations, driven by employees and corporate programs, were aimed at causes like racial justice and climate activism, which align squarely with the progressive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) movement​.

While their commitment to supporting these communities is admirable, it can come across as overly focused on identity politics. For employees who value a more neutral workspace, this could feel isolating or even exclusionary.
