What They Do

Blitz Built Games is a small hobby retailer and game publisher run by Washington state resident Joshua Burrier. The store side sells CapeMadness capes, flags and combo packs, BrickArms minifigure accessories, new and used Lego through a BrickLink storefront, non-Lego rubber replacement parts ("because rubber wears out faster than plastic"), sorting and storage gear including their own Blitz Trays, and building tools. Shipping is free on orders over $17.99.

The other half of the business is Mini Blitz, a turn-based tabletop combat game Burrier designed to be played with the figures customers already own. It began as Brick Blitz, a more complicated mech and vehicle game he ultimately stripped down: "It was large and cumbersome, but the math worked. I boiled the good parts down, shelved the vehicle concept, and released a much simpler game." The rules now fit in a two-page manual. His pitch for why it exists is plain enough: "I take everybody's 'Pew-pew, I-hit-you,' 'No, ya didn't' way of playing and put it into a game set. By making a card game with some basic rules, I want to assist others in making their creations come to life." The game has been played at BrickCon, Bricks Cascade and Emerald City Comicon, and was funded through a Kickstarter that let him manufacture the cards through local businesses. A Gen6 re-release with simplified rules is listed as upcoming.

Why There's No Political Footprint Here

There is no ESG report here, no DEI program, no HRC Corporate Equality Index rating, and no corporate PAC. That is not a position anyone staked out. It is what a one-person hobby company is. Corporate political activity requires a government affairs budget and a compliance department. This business requires a folding table at a convention.
