What They Do

Bari Farms is a small poultry breeding operation. The owner writes in the first person and tells the story plainly: “What began as a small backyard endeavor has evolved into a thoughtfully curated breeding program rooted in quality, dedication, and respect for the craft.” Welcomed into the poultry community, they spent time learning the foundations of responsible breeding before establishing a program of their own.

That program is now more than seven years old. The stated focus is selective breeding for “sound structure, health, and refinement, with the goal of meeting the standards of the show world” — every pairing intentional, every bird raised with care. The operation participates in the National Poultry Improvement Plan, the federal-state program for testing and certifying breeding flocks against pullorum-typhoid and other diseases, under NPIP number CA-516. That California prefix places the farm in California.

Products are chicks, hatching eggs, and related items, available by appointment only. The farm is explicit that it is not open to the public, and gives its reason directly: “In effort to protect our flock.” Anyone who has watched an avian influenza outbreak move through a region will recognize that as ordinary biosecurity rather than unfriendliness. The owner's name, team size, and founding year are not stated on the site; the farm keeps an Instagram presence.

Why There Is No Political Footprint Here

Bari Farms has no ESG report, no DEI program, no HRC Corporate Equality Index rating, and no political action committee. This is not a stand the farm took. It is what an operation this size is.

Corporate political conduct is a function of scale. It takes a government affairs budget, a compliance department, an investor relations function answering shareholder resolutions, and enough public profile for an advocacy group to bother rating you. Bari Farms has a flock, a hatching schedule, and an appointment calendar.

What We Checked

We reviewed the farm's public site and searched federal campaign-finance records against the FEC's current committee master file for any registered political committee under the Bari Farms name. There is none. We found no lobbying registrations and no corporate advocacy activity of any kind. At this size that is the expected result, and we report it as such rather than dressing it up as a finding.

The Bottom Line

Money spent here goes to a single breeder and their birds, not to a corporate political apparatus. We make no claim about the owner's personal politics — we do not know them, and it is not our business. What we can tell you is that your money is not funding anything.
